One applicant per semester will be chosen to intern for Minister of Jerusalem and Diaspora Affairs - Natan Sharansky's office. Please keep in mind that this is a very competitive and sought after position.
You will help coordinate large events such as the Security Fence Tour and help with planning student activism for overseas students in Israel. You will be working for Aryeh Green, advisor to Minister Sharansky, a former activist himself. You will be representing NAJSA, as well as the general North American Jewish student community.

This is a joint program with the Jewish Agency's ISRAEL PROGRAM CENTER - Internship Program {Stagerim Program in Hebrew}. You have the option to receive housing at Jerusalem's Absorption Center - Bet Canada, located in East Talpiot, at the cost of $30* a month. Interns receive a monthly stipend of $75*. Once a month the Stagerim Program holds a internship get-together event, which can include a great tiyul {hike} or a nice dinner.
